We are saddened to announce that Donald “Don” Anderson has passed away. Don had a sharp mind and generous heart.  AAIDD Wisconsin is among the many educational, hospital, and Health and Human service organizations Don served in different capacities. Don’s service was simply outstanding. He leaves behind a legacy of positive impact on friends, family, countless students, AAIDD, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and our community. Don’s work will live on in the work of the many students he taught and mentored at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and our own efforts at AAIDD Wisconsin, including our student scholarship, which bears Don’s name.  We wish all the best to Don’s family, friends, and colleagues whom we join in honoring and mourning his passing.
